Despotiko Boutique Hotel in Mykonos has a long history, as the property was the bishop’s house and garden, an ancestor of the owners’ family, back in 1740. The 270 years old mansion, where today the hotel’s rich buffet-style breakfast is served, is an exceptional example of Cycladic architecture.

The name “Despotiko” has always been the name of the property, (“Despotes” means bishop), while the surrounding location is also known as ‘’Despotika’’. Today Despotiko Boutique Hotel in Mykonos retains that old charm that inspired its owners to create a ‘’home’’ for their guests. It is designed to combine tradition and elegance with contemporary and modern accommodation facilities. The owners’ goal is to offer luxury and comfort to the hotel’s visitors and a sense of timeless authenticity.
