Magda Tsolaki-Deloudi is planning to take her Mykonos fashion style to the city.

Inspired by the latest collection by Karl Lagerfeld for CHANEL. These are Magda’s tips and picks on How-to-Wear your Swimwear as Daywear.

The Inspiration

When I first watched Karl Lagerfeld’s runway show for CHANEL SS19, I was so inspired to make the whole swimwear as daywear style my own.

My favorite moment was the one-piece in black and white paired with denim. This had to be fashioned by me in the city! Luckily enough and inspired by the trend many brands created similar pieces.

This is my How-to guide for the ultimate fashion trend.

Styling Tips and Implementation

My advice would be to keep your outfit in the neutral pallet and play around black and white.

Pair your swimwear with denim, preferably a bit distressed and boyfriend cut. That is because you are already making a big statement wearing your swimsuit in the city. Needless to say that going too floral or colorful may prove risky at least. Moreover the looser cut of your trousers will add some edge and wit to your outfit.

Pick a wide-brimmed rafia hat to cover your face and give you some attitude and accessorise with a belt-bag in black leather.

Lastly complete your look by picking a block heel mule. I love the ones shown on the Chanel runway, you can find them at Linea Piu, but Manolo Blahnik also makes a pretty cool suede version in black which you can find at Luisa World.
