Nikos Koulis is a Greek designer with worldwide recognition and success and our most celebrated jewelry designer nowadays.
The brand takes part in prominent fairs around the world, such as Couture. Nikos Koulis has won the Couture Design Award three times; in 2015 in the Bridal Category and in 2016 and 2018 in the Haute Couture Category; evolving his innovative signature design and exceptional craftsmanship. He was also granted with the 2017 International Jewellery Designer Award in VicenzaOro exhibition in Italy, was one of the 3 nominees for the Jewelry Design Award at Jewelers of America’s GEM Awards 2018 and won the Town & Country Jewelry Award 2018 with Lingerie Collection for ‘Pearls of the Year’ category.
His atelier is in Athens and has two conceptual boutiques in Athens and Mykonos, which reflect the distinct aesthetic of his work. Having his owned workshops and sourcing exquisite stones in special cuts from all around the world, he creates unique pieces for an international clientele who collects jewelry and appraises his quality and aesthetic ethos. He rigorously guards his artistic spirit and intricate craftsmanship, deriving from the Greek traditional goldsmithing legacy.
The source of inspiration behind the design of the first Nikos Koulis Jewels boutique in Mykonos has been the brand logo. Designed by Stage Design Office, Stavros Papayannis&YorgosKiriazis, along with the brand owners, this new boutique has become an international sensation.
The austere and emblematic logo invokes a religious symbolism and determined the integration of an ascetic aesthetic with multiple references in the Cycladic tradition.
